About

Mendocino County boasts acres of untouched wilderness and many off-the-beaten-path adventures. This rich landscape includes windy roads, boutique wineries, hikes that truly make you feel you’ve gotten away from it all, coastal escapes, farms and vineyards, organic breweries, funky arts and crafts and a very laid-back vibe. The county is well known for its long and rich history of sustainable, organic and Biodynamic® wine growing and wine making practices as well as its fish-friendly farming movements and a commitment to preserving the bio-diverse landscape and giant redwood trees.

One part trade event, one part consumer event, Taste of Mendocino is a united showcase of all things Mendo and brings the best in wine, food, travel, lodging, nature, activities, adventure and more to San Francisco for one day only.

Held on a Monday afternoon to bring a sampling of the area right to wine buyers, travelers, meeting planners and media, the event aims to educate and inspire visitors and wine enthusiasts to come visit and enjoy the bounty of this truly unique place.

In the early evening, the Taste of Mendocino will open to the public as a flavorful diversion to a summer night in the City. For just two hours, we’ll gather to celebrate the rich diversity of the region and offer opportunities to taste wine, meet farmers and artisans, hang out in the beer garden, and meet the people behind some of the best adventure outfitters, bed and breakfasts, hotels, restaurants and more. (Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 (CASH ONLY) at the door.

Hosted by the Mendocino Winegrape and Wine Commission (MWWC) and Visit Mendocino County, Taste of Mendocino focuses on promoting America’s Greenest Wine Region to Bay Area trade and media and supporting and promoting the natural and agricultural heritage of the entire county of Mendocino.
