Biography
Fred and Alberta Zmarzly own a 418 acre ranch on the side of a mountain, west of Hopland, CA. The 17 acre vineyard on the ranch is planted mostly with Cabernet Sauvignon vines; the balance of the vines are Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Fred operates the vineyard, performing such tasks as driving the tractor, mowing, weeding, fertilizing and maintaining the irrigation system and equipment on the ranch. Alberta has planted rose bushes at the ends of many of the vine rows, pruning them so that they show flowers most of the year. She also maintains a vegetable and herb garden within the vineyard.
The name of the winery was chosen by the name Alberta’s father, of Italian descent, used to call her as a little girl: Albertina
Albertina Wine Cellars is a boutique winery specializing in ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon wines made from mountain grapes. The current production is less than 1500 cases per year with plans to increase production ultimately to 3000 cases per year.

GREETINGS FROM JULIA
Dear Guest,
It is my passion to share the art of enjoying food to its fullest potential with others. This teaching takes many forms, whether I am giving classes in my teaching kitchen, helping with the harvest of the olives at Stella Cadente, or planning and executing events in the vineyards of the Anderson Valley. Whatever the form, I enjoy teaching most when I am able to connect people with the local foods of Mendocino County and the incredible bounty of what our area offers.
Buon appetito!
Julia Kendrick Conway

Biography
In 2002, two generations of our family came together to create BAXTER, highlighting the very best in North Coast viticulture. Winemakers by trade, Phil Baxter Senior and Phil Baxter Junior, produce handcrafted single vineyard wines focusing on the Anderson Valley and surrounding Mendocino appellations. Known primarily for their Pinot Noir, the pair combine over fifty years of experience, producing wines naturally, applying instinct and using old-world techniques. Together, father and son strive to craft wines with the greatest expression of ‘terroir’ and purity of fruit, reflecting the unique identity of each vineyard source.

Biography
Bells Echo Ranch & Vineyard is a family owned property dedicated to growing traditional red bordeaux varietals. Ron and Lisa Sutton discovered this spectacular Mendocino Ranch property searching for a place where their 3 year old twins, Sam and Ali, could discover the wonders of nature and respect for a simple country life.
We are traditionalists in our wishes to establish long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. We are dedicated to Bells Echo Vineyards producing unique, intriguing fruit. We delight in seeing and tasting this fruit being made into equally exciting wines. We enjoy the experience of working closely with the winemaker, from pruning, watering, shoot, leaf and cluster management, all the way to harvest. We believe as a team our vineyard can produce the best grapes possible that become the best wines possible.

Nurturing such a fickle grape in such extreme locations makes for amazing Pinot Noirs. From the cliffs of New Zealand to the mountain tops and coastal regions of Northern California, we bring to you, Berridge Wine Company. Richard Berridge believes great wine begins from within the soils of our earth. Next is the location of those soils, how the vines are planted and finally how they are nurtured.
Earning a Harvard degree as a Master Landscape Architect, he is a master of his craft. Richard began his career in the wine industry back in 1976 as one of the original founders of Duckhorn Wine. He continues to follow his passion with his new brands, Drystone of New Zealand and his private label, Berridge, of Northern California.
